82 PER CENT RISE IN ONLINE NEWS CONTENT CITING 'DIED SUDDENLY'
The hidden meanings behind this phrase and trend
By Charlotte Hervis
IF YOU feel that you are seeing more and more news reports of people dying suddenly, that is because the data backs up this theory.
In the final months of 2020, there were on average 4,346 online news articles in English language media using this phrase.
In the first eight months of 2023, this figure has risen to 7,910 news articles a month on average. That is an 82 per cent rise.
Why are these time periods important? The final months of 2020 represent a time when the world was still gripped in the covid hysteria, but before the ‘vaccine’ rollout. A temporal marker so to speak of what ‘normal’ looked like for the phrase ‘died suddenly’ in our news media.
Why is the phrase important? Because its meaning has changed over time. Analysis of language used in obituaries reveals that previously the term was mainly used euphemistically for deaths due to suicide or overdose.
‘Died after a long illness’ often meant cancer. Since 2021 these meanings have morphed and many suspect that a pharmaceutical intervention rolled out internationally in 2021 is contributing to this rising trend.
Propaganda expert Professor Mark Crispin Miller’s Substack has been chronicling these tragic cases for a little over a year, because it is important to curate and shine a light on the unusual combined volume of news reports and obituaries, reporting on ever younger demographics who have left this realm far too soon.
Through analysis of the broader long-term context of the phrase ‘died suddenly’ as well as the aggregate view of his weekly updates, which collate news reports and obituaries of people who have died suddenly, unexpectedly, and increasingly due to fast onset cancers or cardiovascular issues (remember, Covid was a respiratory disease) we see the following:
• A rising level of mainstream news reporting, albeit with not enough honesty – an 82 per cent rise in volume since late 2020, including a 37 per cent rise in news reports 2021 into 2022 and a continuing rising trend over time.
• A significant proportion of reports with no cause of death – there is often meaning behind what is not said
• An attempt by the mainstream media to smear those who do report or speculate on the ‘died suddenly’ phenomenon
Delving deeper into the statistics from the weekly curated alerts compiled by Mark and his team we see:
• 30.5k reports logged in first seven months of 2023 by a team of volunteers supporting Mark’s effort to chronicle this phenomenon
• An average of 1,270 of celebrities or ‘civilians’ per month passing before their time, prompting this news reporting. This would be just the tip of the iceberg
• Hundreds of instances of people below 20 dying per month
• An increasing number of people of working age also dying
