BBC and police rev up smear campaign against Freedom Convoy
How the mainstream and official bodies are colluding to create a false narrative
HUNDREDS of thousands of Canadians have gathered in Ottawa protesting against vaccine mandates and the draconian measures still being imposed under Covid rules. Truckers have crossed the country in a 70-kilometre freedom convoy and the capital’s centre has been paralysed, with vehicles and tents blocking roads. All along the route ordinary Canadians cheered, waved and offered free food, drink and in some cases fuel.
Justin Trudeau’s Government is under extreme pressure and now Ottawa’s Mayor has announced a state of emergency ‘to get our city back’.
So here was the BBC’s take yesterday morning, reporting on what they called the ‘so-called freedom convoy’:
“Police have said they are concerned about how the convoy has attracted far-right and extremist elements and on Sunday confirmed they were dealing with more than 60 criminal investigations, with alleged offences including ‘mischief, thefts, hate crimes and property damage’.
“There have been racist signs, there have been a lot of reports of people being assaulted and harassed if they wear a mask,” Stephanie Carvon, Ottawa resident and former national security analyst for the Canadian government told the BBC.
“She added that some organisers of the protest held extremist views, but had ‘successfully framed their actions in the name of the pandemic and ending the mandates, so they’ve earned the sympathy of a lot of Canadians who may not necessarily realise where this has come from’.”
So yet again we know where our supposedly impartial national broadcaster stands. Now read this from our reporter in Canada and decide for yourself who are the far-right extremists:

SASKATCHEWAN truck driver Dustin Brock drove with his wife, three-year old and three-month old baby daughters to protest for Canadians, in the Freedom Convoy in Ottawa. He and his family have now been there nine days in freezing cold temperatures, shovelling snow, talking to Canadians and standing up against the mandates.
I talked to him this morning and I asked him, when he gets up in morning and walks down the streets in Ottawa, what does it feel like? “Heartwarming”, he said.
The support, love and pride he feels from Canadians and people all the world, keeps him going. He said: “Police and government know how to deal with hostile situations but they don’t know how to deal with happy Canadians that are enjoying themselves and being free.”
But heavy-handed tactics continue, with Ottawa declaring a state of emergency and last-minute rule changes for bringing fuel to the truckers in the city. This “terrorist” protest with hockey games and bouncy castles is taking a serious and scary turn.
Here are Dustin’s own words:
“Wanna know the level of corruption we’re dealing with?
“I just had a young farmer come talk to me. He was at parliament last night with a few friends. They had slip tanks in their trucks but did not bring any fuel with them, they were down for the festivities.
“When they left, an Ottawa Police officer followed them but carried on when they pulled into a parking lot. They were sitting there for three minutes when 15 cop cars swarmed them. Both male drivers were arrested for aiding and abetting a terrorist organisation and mischief. Their pickups were towed and female occupants abandoned.
“A few hours later, they were released from custody with all charges dropped and roughly $4000 damage done to their pickups including a pinched brake line.
“All witnesses say the officers were apologetic but said they had too.
“This is the level of corruption we are now dealing with out here. I wonder how the media will report this one...”
He went on to say, “write to your MP’s, write to the Mayor’s office and let them know, you’re not happy with this, let your voice be heard.” Adding, “this has become a lot bigger than we realise, there’s people from all over the world saying thank you for standing up. We wouldn’t be here if is wasn’t the for the people, we’re just some random truckers that went on a drive.”
And thank God they did.
Corporal Bulford resigned from Trudeau’s private security stating he can not tolerate the tyranny any longer. What he saw in the quarantine barracks (similar to those in Australia) really bothered him and he had to make a stand. I’m trying to communicate with Canadians from Uk but only two will post their opinions on social media. The rest scared or tyranny sympathizers. Repeating the reports of truckers behaving badly but have no photo/video proof when I ask them. NHS100K members had Harry Krishnas to the left and farage supporters to the right gate crash our March January 22nd in London - the Jehovahs even showed up!
