Climate ‘science’ a con says top professor

Scaremongering based on dreaded models instead of facts, says German

WESTERN governments are basing their decisions on faulty climate ‘science’ computer models rather than on solid facts, says top German Scientist Professor Hermann Harde.

A report in the Daily Sceptic quotes him as saying that the idea that humans can control the climate with CO2 emissions is “absolute delusion”.

He says there are many reasons for climate change and that it is “completely wrong to assume that 97 per cent of climate scientists, or even more, would assume only anthropogenic warming”.

His words come at a time when the German Government has had to make an embarrassing U-turn on its green energy agenda.

Having closed down nuclear power stations and banned exploration for fossil fuels, saying it would rely on wind, solar and other so-called ‘green’ energy sources, the German Government is now having to reopen mothballed coal power plants to combat its high gas prices.

This is because, while making a big fuss about their ‘green’ credentials, the government was importing large amounts of oil and gas from Russia to power the country. Once Vladimir Putin stepped on the delivery pipe for those, desperation forced them to look at other quick sources of fossil fuels.

Professor Harde believes that the move to impose ‘climate emergency’ policies was caused by ever more lurid descriptions from different research groups of horrifying climate scenarios.

The media fuelled the excitement “and our decision-makers felt obliged to quickly react” he says. He adds that without a reliable and sufficient energy supply, “Germany and many other countries that take such a path will end in anarchy”.

It looks like the government is beginning to wake up to that fact.
