If you thought ‘1984’ was fiction... think again

TRUDEAU SHOWS US WHY WE MUST KEEP CASH AND DEFEND DEMOCRACY

IN THE increasingly Orwellian country of Canada, Justin Trudeau’s government has just invoked the National Emergencies Act .

This means the Canadian Government now has the power to:

• Freeze the bank accounts of people protesting against the government

• Suspend their right to public assembly

• Limit their movements

• Seize property

• Compel workers (armed forces in particular) to help the government quell any protests, however peaceful

This does not just cover the protestors – the truckers who are protesting at being forced to have the Covid injection (even though many of them have had said injection) – it covers every single Canadian citizen…whether they realise it or not.

It does not stop there either.

The Canadian Government will also:

• Insist that insurance companies refuse to cover vehicles used during blockade protests

• Demand that police work with banks to identify and punish protesters

• Make credit card companies report any protest activity

And that’s after GoFundMe were ‘persuaded’ to freeze the $9million sent in charitable donations from people all over the world to support the truckers.

All of this against a genuinely peaceful protest.

No one has guns out, no one has knives out, no one is threatening the life of anyone else. However, because Trudeau does not want to face his accusers he is invoking emergency legislation (originally brought in to deal with terrorist attacks) to squash all dissent.

George Orwell described this behaviour as a government imbuing itself with ‘omnipresent and omnipotent’ powers. 

People in the UK might think that this would not happen in this country – but that would be naïve in the extreme.

Let’s just take the freezing of bank accounts as a starting point.

In this article, here, I explained how a Central Bank Digital Currency could not only see you losing all the money in your bank account, but also would destroy democracy itself.

Trudeau, rather helpfully, demonstrated some of this on Monday by freezing the bank accounts of people he does not like. Yes, that is essentially the action.

An authoritarian leader has switched off the money supporting a small section of his population because, in an apparently democratic society, they have the temerity to protest against his authoritarian actions.

If, as our government (and other Western governments) wants to see, cash in this country is outlawed and we go fully digital, this can happen to us too at any point. It does not even need to be for political reasons.

Stop trusting your bank and buy gold and crypto

If the economy gets a bit rocky because, say, our government wastes billions on pointless media campaigns and throwing money at businesses caught in  a lockdown, they could then freeze our bank accounts or syphon off 20 per cent of our savings (as the Cyprus Government did a few years ago), or force us to spend the money to keep the economy going on pain of seeing the cash magically disappear. 

If we are fully digital we are fully vulnerable to government whims and government economic mistakes. Not only would we lose our democratic rights, we would lose our money with no comeback.

This is why I am telling people to stop trusting their bank, buy gold and crypto and fight to keep cash going in our economy. 

If we get rid of cash we get rid of our ability to function outside of government diktats. 

To save our money and our democracy we must ALL also demand that our government reacts in the strongest possible terms to the anti-democratic and authoritarian behaviour of the Canadian Government. Write to your MP as a first step. Demand that they do something  instead of just watching with interest how Trudeau and his mates destroy the once great democratic country of Canada.
