"It's time to tone our muscles and become a strong public"
Together Declaration founder Alan Miller in call to arms
By Jasmine Birtles
ALAN MILLER of the Together Declaration says “becoming a stronger public” is a safety ticket against increasing tyranny.
In an exclusive interview with News Uncut, Miller says it is dangerous that large swathes of the UK population will avoid voting in the next General Election, expected to be some time in November.
And he believes uniting together will ensure those elected in power finally start listening.
He said: “If we make ourselves strong again as a public and have even a certain percentage who can assert ourselves, that is everyone’s insurance. That is our safety ticket.
“You see people say all sorts of things and then find a civil service who doesn’t them do things. The way to stop it is to say we have a mandate, the mandate of the people and so we are very determined to get that in place.
“We need to get our muscles toned up again and make ourselves an effective public because, when we say that this is not acceptable, when we say no to something, we make this world and very quickly anyone who wants to get elected or get in and stay in is going to be listening. So that is where we want to be.”
