MP WHO STOPPED PENSIONERS FUEL ALLOWANCE WON'T STOP CLAIMING FUEL ALLOWANCE
If Chancellor Rachel Reeves had ANY integrity she would refuse to accept financial help from the taxpayer given she earns £90,000 a year as an MP

THE Chancellor who cut winter fuel payments for thousands of pensioners claims winter fuel payments of £138 per month from the taxpayer.
Labour’s Rachel Reeves promised several times while in opposition that she would always protect pensioners being able to claim help with their energy bills.
Just weeks after Labour gained power, however, Reeves broke that promise and stopped pensioners, who earn above £11,000 a year, from claiming winter fuel benefit.
Reeves, who earns £90,000 per year as an MP, still claims £138 a month towards her energy bills from the taxpayer. With this move she has lost all integrity and surely her position becomes untenable until she says she will not claim any help with her energy bills.
