My Government is in denial over jab damage
But Sir Christopher Chope MP continues to fight against lack of clarity
By Mark Sharman
THE Government is “still in denial that Covid vaccines are causing serious injury and death” according to one of its own back-benchers. To admit damage, he says, “would undermine the Government’s whole propaganda campaign”.
Sir Christopher Chope, Conservative MP for Christchurch in Dorset, is campaigning for proper compensation for victims. And he is highly critical of his Government’s methods of coercing the public into taking the jabs in the first place.
He told News Uncut: “The first thing an oppressor does is fight with fear. They terrorise the population, they put fear into people to gain compliance.
“What is disappointing is how compliant the people have been.”
Sir Christopher, a long-time MP and former front bencher, thinks the Government’s approach will eventually prove counter-productive. He says: “Anecdotally a lot of people know someone who has been affected by these vaccines.”
Next Tuesday (March 29) he will bring a Ten-Minute Rule Motion to the House of Commons, on Covid-19 Vaccine Damage Payments. It is the latest attempt to highlight his concerns, following an earlier Private Member’s Bill.
He has said previously that he is not against vaccines, but when there are side effects the Government should recognise it.
“The people who did the right thing [by the Government], following advice and then suffering, they should be looked after.”
So far Sir Christopher’s battle has been a tough one, both in the Commons and in meetings behind the scenes. He has been frustrated by a lack of clarity and answers to his questions.
He explains: “Jeremy Wright [Conservative MP for Kenilworth and Southam] and I met the Secretary of State [Sajid Javid]. He deigned to give us 10 minutes of his valuable time, during which he appeared to be constantly glancing at his briefing notes. He said there was going to be a consolidated response. Nobody has been given a timetable.”
And according to Sir Christopher, people who have made claims have discovered that VDPS (Vaccine Damage Payments Scheme) officials have still not checked medical records, the starting point for any compensation.
Meanwhile, as data released in the United States points to flaws and potentially fraud in the Pfizer vaccine trials, the Government continues to push vaccines via their on-going £500million advertising campaign and Sajid Javid speaks of ‘anti-vax lies costing lives’.
Sir Christopher has joined the long list of scientists, doctors, lawyers and other experts who have been censored by social media giants for speaking against the official world Covid narrative. His Commons speeches have been labelled as ‘False Information” and blocked by YouTube, an incredible move against an elected MP speaking under Parliamentary Privilege at the seat of UK Government.
He says: “Sadly I realised I was on to something.”
That experience has also alerted Sir Christopher to the inherent dangers to free speech in the proposed Online Safety Bill, which will give the Government and the tech giants unprecedented powers in determining what can and cannot be said online; what is ‘information’ and what is ‘misinformation’.
“It sets alarm bells going in a big way,” he says. “It’s certainly woken me up. You suddenly see the power. It’s impossible to see behind these arbitrary decisions.”
Ofcom will play a leading role as a gatekeeper of online content, which will be a huge challenge for Tory Peer Michael Grade, who has just been named as the regulator’s new chairman, subject to ratification by MPs. Ofcom has already taken a partisan position on Covid, climate change and Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
News Uncut will follow Sir Christopher Chope in the Commons next week. He says: “I’ve achieved nothing yet, but I’ll keep trying.”
