Labour scraps plans for five rape gang inquiries
MINISTER for Safeguarding & Violence Against Women & Girls Jess Phillips (below) has scrapped the five inquiries into Pakistani heritage rape gangs.
Instead, the Government has chosen to use the £5million funding to go to ‘locally-led’ work, after consulting with local authorities.
Baroness Claire Fox, director of the Academy of Ideas, said: “I shouldn't be shocked but FFS [for ****’s sake]. A disgrace. As if those abused young women hadn't be treated appallingly enough by state authorities so far, this really is national gross negligence.
“And those who looked the other way as grooming gangs operated locally, in some instances even complicit, just get away scot free. Government usually love to parrot cliche ‘lessons learned’. This time not even bothering to turn up to lessons. If they were at school, they’d be expelled.”
Olympic medallist Sharron Davies said: “I’m so disappointed in this woman [Phillips] who I really thought put abuse against females, young and old was a hill she was prepared to die on, it seems not so any more.”
Documentary maker Sammy Woodhouse added: “They don’t give a damn about children who have been groomed, abused, raped, trafficked, tortured, impregnated, criminalised and murdered.”
Allison Pearson, columnist for The Telegraph, described the move as “vile”, adding: “Labour has betrayed thousands of white working-class young girls. In case they upset their rapists. Vile.”
Keir Starmer was head of the Crown Prosecution Service at the peak of the rape and abuse of thousands of British children.
40 Labour MPS call for digital IDs to control illegal migration
MORE than 40 Labour MPs have sent an open letter to fellow ministers calling for the introduction of a new digital ID they claim will help stem the tide of illegal immigration and improve public services.
Former Labour Prime Minister Sir Tony Blair is frequently calling for the UK to introduce digital ID, despite having no democratic mandate.
One of the Labour MPs, Jake Richards, said: “The truth is we are moving to an era of digital ID. The Government knows this and is bringing forward new developments with digital driving licences and passports. But we want them to move faster, to ensure the project is comprehensive and joined-up and, critically, bring the public with them.”
It has been reported that, since Labour came to power in July 2024, more than 30,000 people have arrived on boats from across the English Channel.
Many would argue that digital IDs would do nothing whatsoever to prevent this happening, considering these people do not even have a British passport, yet are housed in hotels and given food funded by the taxpayer.
Minnesota becomes 11th US state with legislative efforts to ban mRNA shots
MINNESOTA State representative Shane Mekeland has filed bill HF 3152 to prohibit the administration of gene-based “vaccines”.
Thi makes Minnesota the 11th US state with legislative efforts to ban mRNA injections, according to the Focal Points Substack.
The Substack adds that “unfortunately, the Bio-Pharmaceutical Complex has suppressed most of these efforts – most of which pass initial committee hearings but get killed without vote by ‘leadership’.”
The mRNA Covid jabs have many very dangerous side effects, including death. But here in the UK, the NHS is still publishing adverts urging people to get their Spring Booster, with many GP surgeries sending text messages to those people it believes are ‘eligible’.
