News Uncut: Straight Talk, Hard Truths
Who we are. Why we are here. And why news should never be censored.
WHAT is considered news? Generally speaking, things that are new. Things that are interesting. In the public interest, or interesting to the public. Let’s use all of the marches and demonstrations that took place around the world since March 2020 as an example. They were new, at least they were for a new cause. They were large in numbers. Unprecedented, you might say. They were also dismissed as ‘not newsworthy’ by almost every so-called mainstream news outlet across the globe. Why?
If it were one or two publications, you might argue that such events were not for their readership. But blanket avoidance suggested something more in lockstep; an agreement that such noise must be silenced.
We call that censorship.
The same approach seems to have been adopted for any stories relating to those challenging the theory behind lockdown. By and large, those voices were censored by the so-called mainstream media.
And the same approach applied to anyone who suffered side effects after choosing to take a Covid jab. Censored. Ignored. Dismissed. Brushed under the carpet.
This is not journalism. Journalism should demand that you ask questions of what you are being told. To borrow a quote from one university lecturer on journalism: “If someone says it’s raining and another says it’s dry, it is not your job to quote them both – it is your job to look out of the window and find out which is true.’
Since March 2020, there have been many journalists applying that very method [as if it were ever rocket science] and trying to get these stories into the mainstream. But they failed. They failed because editors have either ignored them or simply refused. It is the Government way or nothing at all. Again, this is censorship, not journalism.
On this site, we will try to bring you the stories the mainstream media will not. We will bring you eyewitness accounts from abroad, interviews with doctors, reports from those who have suffered side effects after choosing to take a Covid jab and more. And these stories will not be limited to the response to Covid, either. We will not shy away from digging beneath the surface.
We are a team of media insiders, some full-time, some freelance. We are news journalists, health journalists, finance journalists, working in newspapers, online, TV and radio. We are tired of the bias and the cancellation we have experienced day in, day out in mainstream media over the last two years.
We are News Uncut: Straight Talk, Hard Truths.
Welcome aboard.
Delighted to hear we will have the opportunity to consider investigative journalism, straight talk and hard truths from sources outside the MSM.
