Russia: "We have no plans to attack Britain"
Embassy to the UK rejects claims by Labour Government

THE Russian Embassy to the United Kingdom has called out Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s warmongering rhetoric saying he is trying to “mask the country’s own economic ineptitude”.
The Russian Embassy also wrote that the country has “no plans” to attack Britain and rejected claims that Russia unleashes “daily attacks” on the UK.
In an unprecedented and incredible series of posts on X, the Russian Embassy appeared to humiliate Starmer, who this week says he is moving the UK to “war-fighting readiness”, believing that there is “growing Russian aggression in our waters”.
This bizarre outburst came after John Healey, the Secretary of State for Defence, claimed the UK was being “attacked by Russia daily”.
In response, the Russian Embassy to the UK has now pinned a post to its profile, which reads: “Russia poses no threat to the United Kingdom and its people. We harbour no aggressive intentions and have no plans to attack Britain. We are not interested in doing so, nor do we need to.”
Several outlets have reported on extensive bombing attacks by Ukraine on Russia’s air force, despite what had been continuing peace talks in Istanbul. The BBC appeared to champion those strikes, reporting: “It’s hard to exaggerate the sheer audacity – or ingenuity – that went into Ukraine's countrywide assault on Russia's air force.”
Ingenuity? Is this more evidence of their impartiality? Don’t forget, the BBC has a Royal Charter, which is a legal document that sets out the framework within which the BBC operates. One of its central principles is impartiality, which is a key part of the BBC’s public service remit.
One part of that Royal Charter is that the BBC must:
Ensure that controversial subjects are treated with due impartiality — especially in news and current affairs.
Moscow-based Irish journalist Chay Bowes described other attacks within Russia, saying: “European and American money paying for Terror attacks on a train full of civilians.
“Russia has declared the Bryansk and Kursk rail attacks, which murdered seven civilians and injured many more, to be Ukrainian Terrorism. No one who saw the carnage up close could think anything else.”
Many believe these attacks were carried out with the help of NATO, of which the UK is a member; hence some fear that, coupled with Starmer’s war-mongering rhetoric, British civilians would soon be conscripted into a war of NATO’s making.
But the Russian Embassy to the UK has tried to ease fears, saying Starmer is, essentially, talking nonsense.
In further posts on X, they wrote: “It is regrettable that, having replaced the Conservatives, Labour continues to invent the same Russophobic fabrications in an attempt to mask its own economic ineptitude and to justify the hike in military spending that the UK can scarcely afford.
“Keir Starmer, somewhat incongruously, sought to attribute the ongoing economic failures under the Labour Government to what he termed Moscow’s “growing aggression”.
“It turns out that the peaceful passage of Russian vessels through the English Channel is somehow “hitting working people” of Britain. Meanwhile, John Healey has gone so far as to allege unspecified “daily attacks” on the UK by Russia. The Embassy categorically rejects these false and bizarre accusations.
“If Britain’s Government were truly committed to strengthening both national and international security, it could, instead of fuelling jingoistic hysteria, immediately end the proxy war unleashed against Russia by the Kiev regime and embark on a path towards a comprehensive and peaceful settlement.
“The UK could also lift its illegitimate unilateral trade and financial sanctions imposed on Russia. It is these measures, rather than mythical Russian “attacks”, that are generating “economic pain” for the British people, to use Mr Starmer's own words.”
Tensions are, however, likely to escalate somewhere. Media personality Alex Jones reported: “For the third time, Ukraine’s Security Service blew up the Crimean Bridge – this time underwater. The operation took months. Underwater supports were badly damaged at the base. The bridge is now in critical condition. This is another attempt to derail President Trump’s peace plan.”
Former Trump White House chief strategist Steve Bannon said on Monday, June 2, that Senator Lindsey Graham (above left, with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy) – one of Kyiv’s strongest backers in Congress – should be “arrested” if he does not stop traveling overseas and “stirring it up” in Ukraine.
Discussing the drone strike on Russian aircraft, Bannon added: “The White House has to condemn this immediately and pull all support and tell Lindsey Graham to come home or we are going to put you under arrest when you come home. You’re stirring it up.
“Lindsey Graham’s over there saying, ‘Hey, forget Trump. I got the House and the Senate. We’re going to pass it. You’re going to see something in a couple of days’’” Bannon said, referring to legislation Graham has sponsored to sanction Russia and countries that buy its products. He’s stirring it up over there.”
