NHS HEROES we called them, caring for us on the Covid front line. We stood and clapped and banged pots and pans in thanks and admiration. And they deserved it, working without proper protection and, at first, without any real knowledge of the dangers they faced.

Some 100,000 doctors, nurses, midwives and ambulance crew are facing the sack because they refuse to accept an experimental vaccine. A vaccine which, taken or not, makes very little difference in transmitting the virus. A vaccine that, without which, they have worked beyond the call of duty for almost two full years.
