Why I'm starting 2025 with hope in my heart

THERE has been a mighty shift. I can feel it. I’m also seeing it, reading about it, listening to conversations and, my goodness, it’s sweet music to my ears. I’m going to begin 2025 with hope in my heart because, regardless of whether it makes a sod of a difference to the outcome or not, there is without doubt a global awakening occurring.

I remember back in 2021 when I had sussed out that two friends in my village were ‘awake’. I clung to them like glue – covert whispers when we met in the street, desperate chats on messenger and all the time, our own quiet fear of being discovered as tin-foil-hat-wearing lunatics with the recumbent threat that brought to our personal credibility. But you know what? I’m not scared any more.
