IF you have been following some sources of news recently, you will have noticed that farmers are out demonstrating in just about every western country. And now, the UK farmers have finally started to take action.
Farmers very rarely take this sort of action. They just want to be left alone to produce food. But they have been pushed to the limit and they are now fighting back.
There are ways that you can help them too, as you can see below.
The farming situation in the UK
Farmers are dealing with increasing Government intervention. Many of the regulations restrict what farmers can do on their own land. They are told when they can put real manure on their land, when they can cut their hedges and even when they can light a fire just to burn a bit of farm rubbish.
Farmers are also getting all the blame for ‘climate warming’. After thousands of years of farming, “experts” claim they have discovered that farmers are contributing so hugely to global warming that they have to stop producing food.
The situation is getting so bad that I have been told by both local farmers and farming cousins that, with the current approach of the Government, plus reduced food supply from places such as Ukraine, we are heading for food shortages in the next few months – certainly before the end of 2024.
