Why Kennedy had to tweet about MMR jab
The man tasked with keeping him in line, the HHS Secretary's real thoughts on it and how other factors came in to play in the death of two children

THE latest measles outbreak in Texas resulting in the deaths of two young girls has provoked a debate around the commitment of Health and Human (HHS) Services Secretary Robert F Kennedy Jr.
Vaccine sceptics thought it an ideal moment for him to expose the failings of the measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) jab which, according to official US Government figures, causes more deaths than measles.
Instead, Kennedy publicly endorsed the shot in a personal tweet that said: “The most effective way to prevent the spread of measles is the MMR vaccine.”
Based on previous interviews and information Kennedy has shared on the effectiveness of the vaccine, it is a statement he does not believe. So why make it?
