Personally, I'm done with the propoganda machine that is the UK mainstream media. In my opinion, there are few journalists that report in an unbiased fashion and many do not even bother to fact check their stories which is utterly lazy and shocking. Some of these mainstream news outlets are owned by foreign interests and/or receive funding from private individuals/organisations. The journalism code of conduct is in my opinion weak and I believe that journalism in much of the mainstream media is morally and ethically bankrupt. I hope the worst of these outlets lose their viewership/readership and cease to exist. If I could, I would defund the BBC tomorrow.
I support independent media who have good morals and values, are balanced in opinion, and do not stoke hatred, fear, and discrimination in society. A good media outlet brings people together rather than scaring and dividing society. I hope much of the incredible independent media platforms that have popped up in recent years become the new mainstream media.
I'm in Canada. Our entire legacy media received cash from the Trudeau/Singh WEF puppet government. Billions in tax dollars. The techno-fascist regime is currently trying to push through dystopian censorship legislation (Bill C-11) to silence Canadians.
