We're all being played innit? All against all and we all get outraged - it's the desired outcome. Everyone is being pushed into a corner, the police included. We need to stop, take some deep breaths, step out of the drama game dynamics and let them implode themselves.
Bratherman has been stoking the flames, she did get the police to actually take action which was necessary but I think in doing so she went too far. Police wouldn’t have done anything had she not pushed it so far and she shouldn’t have needed to push so hard.
Hopefully it’s been noted how far she needed to push and changes will be made so they don’t need to push that hard in future. Hopefully other departments will start doing as they are instructed to as well.
No-one ever speaks up. People are spineless when it comes to supporting others but it's always been the same. As my late father in law (b. 1920) used to say, friends say they'll back you up but in reality they're so far behind you'll hardly see them.
Yes, this is so. Standing alone is a cold, lonely place to be and very few people have the strength and tenacity to do it, but sometimes it is necessary.

As they say 'Coppers are Cunts'...
It’s disgusting, they’ve been doing similar to “other” people for years but no one spoke up.
Hopefully this will be properly addressed now.

Problem is the consequences for speaking up can be dire.
Terrifying.
