Why you must watch the Putin interview
Do not simply accept the US and UK's response to it – think for yourself
By Oliver May
THIS update is for those who do not frequent social media, no longer buy a newspaper and who may be so busy with their own lives that neither do they take in television news.
On Thursday, American journalist Tucker Carlson interviewed the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin.
We are providing you with the link to watch this interview in full and we recommend that you set aside enough time to do so.
The reason is simple; at almost every opportunity, the western world is being told that Putin is our enemy, that we are “absolutely at war with Putin”.
In fact, in recent weeks there have even been suggestions from UK military and former politicians that conscription may soon be required once again.
That’s right – UK politicians have suggested that they might need you or your children to fight in a ‘war’ you had no say in whatsoever. And the fact remains: we [the UK] are not at war.
Increasingly, since 2020, it has been clear that western governments cannot be trusted. That, in fact, it may well be us who are the ‘bad guys’.
We have been repeatedly told over the years that you cannot believe anything Putin says because he uses propaganda. This from the people who repeatedly told us – and still tell us – that Covid jabs are “safe and effective”.
That is why it is important to watch the interview with Putin and decide for yourself what might be the truth. Not only the truth about what is going on in Ukraine, but also what Putin suggests is western involvement in scuppering an early peace deal.
As a final thought, many western journalistic outlets and politicians have since come out to smear both Carlson and Putin – with the BBC of all institutions actually publishing a so-called “fact-checking” of the Russian president.
Hillary Clinton described Carlson as “a useful idiot for Putin”. Why? For doing the job of a journalist?
Even BBC journalist John Simpson tried to discredit Carlson, saying he asked no hard-hitting questions whatsoever. Ironic, considering one cannot remember a single hard-hitting question from the BBC in its entirety over the past four years.

The West is the aggressor, not Russia. I'm frankly ashamed to be British.
The reality is Russia tried to avoid the conflict in Ukraine for years despite DC's orchestrating the coup in 2014 amid the slaughter of ethnic Russian civilians by the ethnically hateful authoritarians DC installed in Kiev, killing which continued thereafter. Make no mistake, DC doesn't care at all about the Ukrainian people it is using them to try and destroy Putin, which is failing miserably. All because of DC's demented hatred of Putin who simply won't bend a knee and allow the West to dictate how Russians live their lives. Since collapse of the Soviet Union Russia has welcomed mutually beneficial association with the west but not domination. In other words they have behaved like normal mentally healthy people. DC has not.
